Located in the Lakeview East neighborhood of Chicago, Garden Level Projects is easily accessible by CTA public transit and within walking distance of numerous diverse restaurants, bars, shops, historic areas, one famous ballpark, and the lakefront all while being located on a residential block. GLPC is dedicated to supporting its neighborhood, city, and community and forming partnerships with local organizations and engaging local artist and collectives.

We're proud to call the oldest officially recognized LGBTQ neighborhood in the United States our home.This means the project space is steps away from the pulse of the Halsted scene and surrounded by history. Garden Level Projects is committed to continuing the legacy of the neighborhood by supporting LGBTQ artists and hosting exhibitions and programing that foster a space of open dialogue and acceptance.
